Nothing says "Happy Easter" than waking up a little girl for breakfast with a few foam darts and some fantastic pancakes I managed to cook in a frying pan. Who knew these toy guns could be so entertaining? Let's just hope it doesn't get too out of hand, because this isn't war Pearl.
Seems that those class clowns from that arms class were hanging around the combat class today. It was sort of funny watching them try and antagonize my class while we were running through some routines. I might have to have a talk with them if they show up again as I don't think I we can have that sort of distraction again.
I keep dreading the calls from Spock. Each time I hear from him something else is wrong with the Enterprise. The list keeps compiling and I'm still trying to figure out what we're going to do. Who knows how we're going to fix her at this rate. Maybe I better get over there and see what Scotty has to say.

Well, getting back on my feet wasn't too bad, but just because you had a day off doesn't mean that you guys can be slacking. Maybe I could always ask the other hand to hand combat if she could cover for the next time. Too late for thinking about it now I guess, but at least it's still a thought. Good thin we're going to be reviewing a few routines before we get into something a little more complex.
Say, Miss Evans? How are you feeling? I haven't seen you lately, and I figured I'd check in.
I think it's time to take a trip back to the Enterprise. It's been a while and I can't keep myself away from her too long. Besides, I've got some things to take back as well as a report to file. Better late then never I suppose.

Well, seems like I'm going to have to cancel my class for Monday. That little stunt the other night might have me me off my feet for a little bit. Sprained my ankle wearing those damn heels, and might I add that pink really isn't my color, Bones. Next time I get a wise idea to bet I'm putting my money on Scotty if it calls for it. I better keep my feet up for now and dig out some ice.
Remind me never to wear heels again.
So, I despite all of that I think I actually might work on some lesson plans instead of winging it like I have been. If I'm not going to be doing anything the next few days it might be a pretty good idea.
Maybe I'll see about calling that pretty blond girl I met in the library to help me out.

All right, Mulder or whoever you are? Making little girls cry isn't a very nice thing to do. Making them shriek at what...eight this morning isn't very nice either. I mean come on, she's like what, ten? Pearl is probably going to have nightmares cause of you. I had to walk her to class so she wouldn't worry. I think you owe her an apology.
Now I gotta say that I think my classes are going to start getting interesting. Sort of like going in my favor since the little upstart this morning.
Oh say, Bones I have some good news for you. Nurse Chapel agreed to come and assit you after she's finished with some work on the ship. I have bad news as well but that'll wait until I drop by later with the reports. I figured you might appreciate knowing what sort of damage the ship took when we crashed.

You know, the object of the exercise was to learn how to not get hit by an incoming punch. I mean sure, sometimes it's impossible to avoid, but you'd think that no one would get hurt by a simple routine. I think we may have a problem if I have to keep sending my students your way, Bones. With luck they'll stop coming once they've seen you.
This technology here is quite a bit different then what I'm used to. Not a bad thing but the last time I've seen a computer like this was in my step-fathers garage labled as a junk antique. He had a lot of things in there that I recognize now but never actually let me touch anything.
I'd like to say that I'm off to a good start at that rate.
Oh say, Pearl? I have to admit that was a pretty interesting television series you own. I might have to ask if we could sit around and watch it again some time in the future. What do you say to having a movie night?

Not exactly the landing I was hoping for, and with the loss of some of the crew it's going to be a while until we can even begin to start repairs. Good thing that we've got the best person on the job to take care of her until we get back. With luck, Lt. Uhura will get communications back online and we can finish following Starfleet protocal. Heck, with luck we'll get the ship back online soon and we'll figure out what went wrong.
So it seems I'm staying at Cosmos West. Roommates being Snape and Pearl I see. I haven't had roommates since the academy, so this should be an experience. My name is James Kirk, I'll be here teaching hand to hand combat for the next semester. I look forward to seeing some of you there.
I better get going however. I'm sure Bones expects me to be in the infirmary on some sort of time schedule. I'll work on this log later when I have a bit more time.
